The Rocky Mountain Bass Slam is an annual ALL AGES event celebrates the bass guitar and showcases the wide range of musical options that bass players can provide.  The Rocky Mountain Bass Slam is back in action for its 12th time after the pandemic. A True weekend of Bass Celebration, the main event will take place October 9th in Denver, Colorado with a host of incredible bassists including some heavy hitters.

The Rocky Mountain Bass Slam takes place Sunday, October 9th at 1:00 pm at THE VENUE in North Denver, Colorado at 1451 Cortez Street.

In 2022 the RMBS will be featuring three national bass performers and local players alike. Cody Wright and Colorado’s own Todd Smallie (JJ Grey & MoFro and Derek Trucks Band) Andy Irvine. Cody Wright is known for his virtuosity on the electric bass using picking, tapping, and fingerstyle, along with his genre bending style and adaptability.  Cody has toured nationally & internationally with Eric Gales, Ghost-Note feat. MonoNeon, Jonathan Scales Fourchestra, Ron Holloway Band, Albert Cummings, Everyone Orchestra, Jeff Sipe & Billy Cardine, Jazz is Phish and James Brown Dance Party.

The Slam will also feature local bass artists Paul Rogalski, Kirwan Brown, Jeff Andrews, Glenn Tapia, Jonathan Bohannan, and others.

Most of the performances will be bass duos and some soloists. All paying respects to the bass in different styles of music from Rock to Funk to Jazz to Reggae and more.

INSTRUCTIONS:  Upon purchase of a VIP All Access Pass – All you have to do is show up to the Bass Clinic on Saturday, October 8th by 12:00 p.m. at Flipside Music with your email proof of purchase and photo ID.  We will have a pre-paid list and will give you your lanyard credentials to the clinic, main event, and the rest of the package on Saturday.

Special Reserved Seating for Main Event ($25) (plus EventBrite fee)

RESERVED SEATING IN FRONT OF STAGE - This will guarantee a table seating near the front and stage at the main event.  Only 30 advanced Reserved Seats are available.

INSTRUCTIONS:  Upon purchase of a Reserved Seating – All you have to do is show up to the Main Event  on Sunday, October 9th by 1:00 p.m. at The Venue with your email proof of purchase and photo ID.  We will have a pre-paid list and will give you your reserved seating assignment near the stage at the reserved tables.

GENERAL ADMISSION - You can sit anywhere that is not a VIP or Reserved Table.
 
INSTRUCTIONS:  Upon purchase of a General Admission – All you have to do is show up to the Main Event  on Sunday, October 9th by 1:00 p.m. at The Venue with your email proof of purchase and photo ID.  We will have a pre-paid list and you may sit anywhere that is not reserved for VIP or RESERVED SEATING at the Venue.
 
Day-of-Show  - General Admission ($20)
 
General admission to the show is $20 per person on the day of the show. Discount advanced tickets, reserved seating, and VIP passes can be purchased here on the site


Additional donations for the beneficiaries and performers are welcome and encouraged.

Anyone under the age of 21 must be supervised at all times by a legal guardian during the show. Admission for those under 21 is same pricing
